- #4 Melyssa Ford and her curves made quick work of #13 Malinda Williams.
- #5 Paula Patton had no problems with #12 Joy Bryant.
- And in the first mini-upset of the tourney, #6 Christina Milian WENT DOWN at the hands of #11 Amerie.
- #7 Tamala Jones fended off FIERCE competition from Latin Beauty Rosario Dawson, and she managed to advance to Round 2.
- Finally, what many thought would be a better contested matchup, #8 Eva Longoria-Parker ran away with it, leaving lead Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger in the dust.
