• #2 Alicia Keys vs. #15 Tasha Smith - Same as with the 1-16 matchup, this one was really no contest. Alicia destroyed her to advance.
• #3 Kenya Moore vs. #14 Kim Kardashian - This one wasn't really all that close either. Kenya Moore defeated Kim K. my a wide margin.
• #4 Taraji P. Hinson vs. #13 Dolicia Bryant - In what has to be the biggest upset of the tournament thus far, Dolicia Bryant defeated Taraji Hinson by a WIDE margin. This was completely unexpected, and we congratulate Ms. Bryant as we bid Ms. Hinson farewell for this year's tournament.
• #5 Lauren London vs. #12 Jennifer Hudson - Much like Rihanna, maybe coming into this tourney after such a trying time wasn't such a good idea for Jennifer Hudson. It didn't help that she was facing Lauren London. And the results reflect this line of thinking. Lauren London ran away with this one.
• #6 Keisha Knight-Pulliam vs. #11 Keri Hilson - Even though Keri is trying to stake her claim as the hottest chick in the game, she fell in the first round at the hands of Little Rudy.
• #7 Tamia vs.#10 Dania Ramirez - Even though she's been out of the light for some time now, Tamia pulled out some old tricks to defeat smoking hot Dania Ramirez.
• #8 Stacey Dash vs. #9 Mel B. - The ageless wonder does it again. Stacey Dash defeated Melanie Brown by a wide margin to advance.
